Journal: Fall in Seoul
Fall is a beautiful time of year in South Korea. We enjoy stunning blue skies with warm afternoons and cold nights. Even in the middle of Seoul there are brightly coloured leaves everwyere; gingko, poplar, alder, cherry and oak.We are lucky enough to live right next to Namsan Park which is a small mountain in the heart of the city covered in natural forest. We love to explore the small paths that meander though the woods, they are small and muddy and wind through the most peaceful and solitary corners of the park.Unfortunately, Fall is also the season for smog. According to Greenpeace about 50% of it comes over from China and the other 50% is homegrown - from coal power stations. Personally, I think a lot of it is from cars, too... wherever it comes from it makes for some nice sunsets!
